@ZeroQI
i hadden. I just did…do i need to restart plex?
@saitoh183: no need to restart plex (or edit the agent code.py that would restart the agent alone). that fixes the agent not updating/gathering metadata, not episodes/series not showing on Plex (scanner responsability)
@baltyre: will rewrite code and include, thanks for that. Am only concerned people following naming conventions will have second season with a year removed so it could fail correct matching for them.
Note for me, short re-write of given code, to test and add if series with year not found, search without year before searching by words
p = re.compile(ur’([1-2][0-9][0-9][0-9])$’)
x = re.search(p, orig_title)
if x: media.year, orig_title = int(x.group()[1:-1]), re.sub(ur’([1-2][0-9][0-9][0-9])$’, “”, orig_title)

The mapping file format changed [see Upcoming changes to anime-list.xml · Issue #19 · ZeroQI/Hama.bundle · GitHub] with addition of episode offset, and seaason start end and offset:<anime anidbid="516" tvdbid="76045" defaulttvdbseason="1" episodeoffset="0"> <name>Princess Tutu</name> <mapping-list> <mapping anidbseason="1" tvdbseason="1" start="1" end="13" offset="0"/> <mapping anidbseason="1" tvdbseason="2" start="14" end="38" offset="-13"/>Order of processing and impact on the mappingList array in my code:
1 individual mapping: mappingList [ ‘s1exx’ ] = ‘sXeXX’
2 offset: mappingList [ ‘s1’ ] = [start, end, offset]
3 episodeoffset: mappingList [ ‘episodeoffset’ ] = episodeoffsetHaven’t tested much but doesn’t crash. Let me know if for the anime listed on the tvdb policy change it works
https://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25066
Any word on fixing this implementation? I’ve been combing through the entire collection piece by piece, submitting many fixes for various anime to the author of the mapping list, and this is the final piece of the puzzle for this awesome scanner. Currently, the commit basically had no effect, its not currently using the episode offset.
This is regardless of Force Refreshing, per-anime refreshing, removing the anime and purging all its cache/bundles then adding it back, etc etc.
I use the following folder structure. I only have the folder and the video files in that folder, nothing else. It works perfectly for every anime except for these split-cour animes.
1st season
- FateZero (folder)
------ FateZero - S01E01 - Summoning of the Heroes.mkv (file)
2nd season
- FateZero (2012) (folder)
------ FateZero (2012) - S01E01 - The Mion River Battle.mkv (file)
No TVDBid forcing, no Season 1 folder (pointless)
This follows how anidb sets out Fate/Zero into two separate cours.
Here are some screenshots showing the file path (folder structure) and the result

Added the episodes folder because it was missing but still no luck with scan
Should i try your package from this post
Does the Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Data\com.plexapp.agents.hama\DataItems\anime-list-master.xml contain:

Also tried to update to the current Hama.bundle on git and still the same problem
agent will not solve scanner issues
I see no issue with scanner in previous logs. no errors in scanner logs, custom scanner logs is not interrupted mid way through, try the other scanner maybe

well only the scanner is left to change beside starting from scratch which i want to avoid !
the only thing that gets added to the ASS log file when a file ispicked up with scanner is
2015-12-07 19:52:44 Place correct Plex token in X-Plex-Token.id file in logs folder or in PLEX_LIBRARY_URL variable to have a log per library - https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204059436-Finding-your-account-token-X-Plex-Token
but no content appears.
The show doesnt appear in the ASS file list either

I already have the scanner.py from git

Updating to this new version and pressing ‘Refresh’ on every effected anime worked perfectly. Everything in my collection now has metadata. Thankyou ![]()
@saitoh183: This line should be once for all iterations. something is wrong but nothing generated…
can you copy that file in another folder, create a new library fir that new folder and see if it works ? if so, issue possibly with plex and not scanner. you can also try the alpha scanner at https://gist.github.com/ZeroQI/26d26f91af04c876b1a0

I will give it a try.
When i do a manual scan everything works…its the automatic scanning that isnt working. Its not tied to a specific show because even anime i already have were not updating when a new episode arrived in the anime directory.

I created a new test library. Everything scanned in but there was a error in the logs (Attached Log__.7z). Then i added a New series to my test folder and it didnt added the content
Plex Media Scanner (custom ASS Log) gives the same message :

But the Plex Media Scanner Log show that it is adding the anime:

In plex i see in the Alert log:
4:16 PM Library scan complete: Extra information may still be downloading from the Internet
4:16 PM Scanning the "Anime test" section
I also tried the Alpha scanner but i got a bunch of errors and it didnt scan anything. I might try it again tonight unless you find something else to try.
I really dont know what to do since i even started a new library and i got the same problem.I guess the only thing left is download the latest git of both the scanner and hama bundle and start the library from scratch to see if it fixes the problem…
I will have 3 weeks off from this week end, so attach the filelist of what you have.
Does this have the series you are missing ? if so great. if not, there might be something funky about your database/plex/file system. will reproduce your library and check
Right now, series are not missing because i launched the library update manually which always works its just the auto update when a new series or episode is detected by plex that is not working.
Here is the log after a manual scan. you will see it still says plex token thing missing at the start of the log.
Also i dont know if it will help, but here is a my entire plugin support folder for hama. Maybe you might find that im using something wrong.

Hi guys,
I want to know what the best folder structure to use is, and how to make sure Episode names and info show up correctly.
Right now, series are scanning totally fine and everything works great. However, I only seem to get the first episode’s episode name - all the rest are “Episode 1” or “1080p” or something along those lines (most series it’s just the first episode or one in the middle).
Here are some pics of what I’m experiencing. Could you point me in the right direction? How should I be organizing my files so that I can avoid this - or what setting am I missing?
Here is a shot of my configuration in the library:
Thanks
Connor
if it is the right file for the episode number it is named correctly
give me mayo chiki! ep 2 filename for example and if possible hama logs
