doubleeeee post
You need to go into the server options -> agents -> tv shows and configure HAMA to use “en” instead of “■■■” for the naming

Did you change the order in the Hama tv agent for the language retrieval?
@saitoh183: https://github.com/ZeroQI/Absolute-Series-Scanner/blob/master/Scanners/Series/Absolute%20Series%20Scanner%20-%20Alpha.py the line in question was added 5 days ago, it was skipping items to remove beforehand so half roughtly skipped through. Did the format “Ranma 1-2 (1989) - 001 - Clash of the Delivery Girls! The Martial Arts Takeout Race [E-D].mkv” had issues with the non-alpha scanner? if so i need to change algorythm

Yup, En is selected as first… I am thinking i might re-install plex, Its not even downloading the album art work for my anime and movies =-[
Did you check the agent link in my signature? You need agent data folders fir posters. Agent logs give the errors and troubleshoot steps install process and logs to include, so you didn’t follow that, since i don’t see agent logs attached when you have two agents issues…
I am unable to find the com.plexapp.agents.hama.log anywhere in the installation. My issue is that Hama won’t pull artwork after I have created the necessary folders in /com.plexapp.agents.hama/DataItems/. I want to review from logs but I am unable to locate them.
I have everything setup, but was unable to open the lcfwtegb18ht.7z file that’s in the OP (file opens up with no contents). Agent and Scanner are setup, but no cover art is being downloaded.
Is anybody else having issues accessing the lcfwtegb18ht file?

update with github latest scanner and code.py for the agent as per the agent read-me instructions’ install procedure. there is troubleshooting steps with logs to gather as well.
i never uploaded something called “lcfwtegb18ht.7z” but got files labelled that way when downloading from the forum on an android phone before… Logs folder should be in same folder as the parent folder you put the folders in.
Did you figure out the ranma issue?
Hama is working great it seems. Had to run chmod 0777 on the /com.data.agents.hama/DataItems/ structure and artwork is now appearing.
I still don’t have logs for com.data.agents.hama.log in /Logs/PMS Plugin Logs/. The folder was not created, I had to manually. ASS created Scanner logs automatically and are working. What am I missing?
@Doodlebob: ASS works with a set list of folders to re-create logs functionality.
Plex put the logs elsewhere, nothing i can do, but they are somewhere
@saitoh183: it’s in the to-do list… as soon as i go on the pc at home i will have a look
@saitoh183: why is the file named differently from the folder ? “Ranma 1-2 (1989) [anidb-193]” as folder name would work normally
Gals the Leader of the Amazon Tribe! [E-D].mkv” “3” “003 - This Ol’ Gal’s the Leader of the Amazon Tribe!”Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire Technique [E-D].mkv” “3” “004 - Behold! The ‘Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire’ Technique”try new alpha scanner, i fixed it. let me know if any bug remain. if so paste the custom log section like above
I don’t know why they are named differently. Jmm did the naming. I will give the new scanner a go and let you know.

Well i just tried it on my test library with the Ranma and everything seems to work! I will let you know if anything goes wrong when i apply it to my main library.
Just a suggestion. Maybe you should remove Alpha from the scanner name since it seems to be the main file now and rename the other or even remove it altogether.
Thanks @ZeroQI for the hard work ![]()
First off, many thanks for maintaining this plugin - it does a fantastic job!
I originally added all of my series and films with “main” as the preferred language. However, i’ve now decided that i’d rather go with “eng” as the main title language. In the agent settings for both Movies and Series i’ve updated the order to be eng > main > x-jt, however I can’t seem to get the titles to change. I’ve tried refreshing, re-linking and even deleting the library and re-creating it from scratch.
What’s the best way to try and troubleshoot why this is happening? Is it possible that the “main” name has been cached somewhere and thus why it keeps getting selected on every refresh regardless of the actual language preference?
Many thanks!
Did you look at the agent readme troubleshooting section?
