@ZeroQI Others agents works fine without any problems. I have latest version of Plex. I tried oldest version but problem still exist. Clean installation on different disk not helped.
Can i ask you for your file “core.py” ; “\RCompile.py” ; “\loader.py” or i will be very happy if you can upload me your PLEX folder from Program files.
I tried also shutdown firewall. Removing line 59 has no effect on my plex
@ZeroQI : then it is possibly hama issue. Again, core.py and other files mentionned are not mine. the error in not there most likely.
I didn’t say to remove line 59 but to remove "urllib, " within.
In short, replace line 59: import os, re, time, datetime, string, thread, threading, urllib, copy # Functions used per module: os (read), re
with import os, re, time, datetime, string, thread, threading, copy # Functions used per module: os (read), re
My mistake, sorry. I replaced line 59 but error is still same.
I will try tomorrow morning install plex on my working PC. Maybe is problem only on my side (Local PC)

Finally scanner working fine. It was my stupidity because i have badly installed Agent. Some files was not installed correctly. So i really apologize you, anyway thank you for your time !
Just wanted to confirm, is this the right way to use anidb-id cause I’m having trouble displaying both in library atm or would my other tags trouble it.
Hi, no problems or bugs to report by my side, all works perfectly!
I have a question (or possibly a request) to ask:
I recently brought Nvidia Shield TV, perfectly knowing that the new media server feature would not support (at least for now) manually adding channels and plugins.
I am obviously willing to wait to migrate the anime part of my collection to the new server, but I was curious about what is keeping HAMA away from the official metadata channel. It is planned, impossible for some technical reason or simply it wasn’t worth since until now there was no limitation to manual installation?
Obviously, if it is indeed possible, I’d like the developer to consider covering this use case, should the support from the “other side” look to be far away.
@XellossMetallium: Can’t do anything for agent support in shield’s PMS
Official metadata agents are made by plex.
Third party official doesn’t exist to my knowledge but could be in the unsupported appstore.
Since i use data folder for caching it makes it not standart and prevent that. If somebody know if this could be supported in the ‘unsupported appstore’ despite that fact let me know
@nevertrending: i am convinced the readme says to add " [anidb-12345]" and not anidbid. Also the anidbid doesn’t start with ‘a’.
Fix the fishy anidbid nane and anidb id and let minnow. Minnow / fishy, got it?

Thanks for the tip about ‘a’, it’s what did it for me really. This was the first time the scanner couldn’t differentiate 2 titles with same name for me really.
@Edarlidd: are you sure you entered the commands in the readme for linux permission issues? The errors pasted look strangely similar and state it’s a permission error

Ya I went through those commands, I am still kinda learning to use terminal but I used them like this

You could put each movie in its own folder with anidb title numbering but would get 13 series then
You use absolute numbering (one season) therefore AniDB numbering therefore the metadata is AniDB
specials which will not list movies but list opening and ending which is predominently present in torrent downloads so i will not change default behaviour.
If you want movies as specials, anidb doesn’t do that so tvdb is the only reference so you have to change the numbering since your numbering for movie list doesn’t correspond to AniDB nor TVDB…
S00E02 Movie 1: One Piece: The Movie
S00E04 Movie 2: Clockwork Island Adventure
S00E06 Movie 3: Chopper’s Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals
S00E08 Movie 4: Dead End Adventure
S00E11 Movie 5: The Cursed Holy Sword
S00E13 Movie 6: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island
S00E15 Movie 7: The Giant Mechanical Soldier of Karakuri Castle
S00E16 Movie 8: Episode of Alabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates
S00E17 Movie 9: Episode of Chopper Plus: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Sakura
S00E19 Movie 10: One Piece Film: Strong World
S00E27 Movie 12: One Piece Film: Z
Solution 1
You could use " [tvdb3-81797]" in folder name to keep absolute numbering on disk but display it using tvdb seasons in plex AND keeping absolute numbers for episodes. The specials would be based on tvdb numbering then [ワンピース - TheTVDB.com]
I recommend this.
Solution 2
Alternative would be for me to create a tvdb-4 mode with tvdb specials but anidb numbering
I have exactly this problem about which you talked before. I would love to use solution one.
I placed a file in the OnePiece folder called “tvdb3.id” which has “81797” in it. The separation in seasons works perfectly well for the normal epsiodes, but the specials (or this 1 have) fail.
What do I have to do different?
Structure ist NAS>Anime Series> OnePiece> Specials>S00E20 - Strong World Episode 0
Scanner line for this file:
“One Piece [tvdb3-81797]” s0002e020 “One Piece - S00E20 - Strong World Episode 0 - 2241451 .mkv” “1” “Strong World Episode 0 - 2241451”
This confirm a regex is used and handles wrong. Did you really have to leave " 0 - 2241451" in the filename ? the scanner test every number to find a mate and failed. the regex kinda tries the same and this throw it off. Put it in brackets at the very least…
Try with “One Piece - S00E20 - Strong World Episode 0.mkv” and keep me posted and paste back the same line i did with the new outcome please
hm log seemed to be a bit old since I removed that number couple days ago. The intention was to force the thing to the specific episode ID of TVDB.
Nevertheless I even removed the 0 now.
Shows the following
“One Piece [tvdb3-81797]” s0002e020 “S00E20 - Strong World Episode Null.mkv” “1” “Strong World Episode Null”
BTW same problem with Detective Conan specials

“Detektiv Conan [tvdb3-72454]” s0003e064 “S00E64 - Happy New Year Mori Kogoro.avi” “1” “Happy New Year Mori Kogoro”
It looks like the specials wrongly assigned season is incremented with the same season as absolute episodes of the same rank… (ex; s00e64 s03e064 because s01e64 would be mapped to s03e64)
