Quick background…I’ve had Plex for years & loved it. Never had issues but I’m the first to tell you I don’t know much lingo regarding fixing issues. But I have tried everything & think my problem is with my TP-Link Deco M5 mesh router.
My network is 100% wired and all of my Roku devices are on a relayed connection (limiting quality), which I do not want.
I’ve spent hours on the problem and now I’m here for help (sorry!).
In my Deco M-5 advanced settings, I use IPv4 connection (IPv6 is disabled). TP-Link DDNS is blank. Operating mode is router (tried to switch to Access Point but always get an error and can’t switch). Port Forwarding is also blank, but I’ve tried to add port forwarding about 8 times and it never has worked. I thought I might have a DNS Bind Problem and tried to follow help here but was lost. Thought it may be a Double NAT problem, but not sure.
My understanding is Relayed Connection is connected to remote access settings. If this is accurate, here is a pic of my settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
