WHATS NEW:

  • Discover: improved experience when opening external service and required app not installed.

FIXES:

  • App could crash on startup when the device is set to use certain languages.
  • The app could open to a blank screen.
  • Player: cellular limit was sometimes not respected.
  • Feed: the “Remove Activity” option could be shown on other users’ activities.
  • LiveTV: airings on the TVGuide would sometimes not populate properly when scrolling back from a future date.
  • Preplay: app could crash generating file details for local videos.
  • LiveTV: shows would sometimes not play from a details view.
  • Player: prevent constant drop frames on 720p recordings on Chromecast with Google TV devices.
  • Player: fallback to HDR when DoVi profile isn’t supported.
  • Platform: in app alerts and confirmations would sometimes fail to show.
  • LiveTV: create placeholder for channels that return no airings.
  • Fix issue where opening a person page could cause a PMS local media scan.
  • Home: app could crash while loading home.
  • Player: showing the postplay during credits didn’t let you return to the video.

  • [TV] Platform: first launch of discovery could fail to load inline metadata.
  • [TV] LiveTV: first row on the TVGuide would sometimes show repeated airings.
  • [TV] App could crash trying to display settings screen.
  • [TV] Preplay: don’t show played badge for music albums.
  • [TV] Player: prevent crash showing seek overlay when playback ends.
  • [TV] App could crash trying to display a cast member’s filmography.
  • [TV] Navigating to Discover episodes would fail sometimes.
  • [TV] App could crash during PIN login.
