There are a huge amount of bugs to the UWP, with no updates coming. Since the UWP app is the only app that supports touch + sync on Windows, it leaves us without any options. Plex should release the source code to the community so that we can actually get these problems fixed. There are many .Net developers that could contribute to this unofficial project.

That is a great idea but given the deafening silence from Plex so far on the UWP app I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Yep.
Plex are absolutely determined to never ever confirm (or deny) when a client is no longer being developed. PlexForKodi being yet another example. It’s not like there isn’t 20+ threads asking the same question about the UWP app. All totally ignored.
But hey, we now have UNO on the Roku, so feel the 
Living proof that things have gotten so bad with Plex clients that any improvement on unusable has people wetting themselves with glee.
