I would like to see a filter for my libraries to be able to find all movies released “today” or on any given day, without needing to search for a year. This would give me the ability to find new movies in a new way, and rediscover things as I have over 4000 movies in my library. The “today” option would dynamically find any movie in the library released today.
Similarly, I would like a pivot between Recommended and Library for “Released Today” that will show every movie released today in my library.
For TV shows, the same pivot and filter would be called “Aired Today.”
There’s already an existing suggestion asking for an option to expand the release date filter with an „on this day / month“ criteria. This will also allow the creation of smart collections which can be published as hubs on the Home Screen / library recommendations.
