Remote access over ssl secure connection

Hello everyone,
I’m very new to plex and just setup my first media server on my Freebsd. Right now I can access my server from my local at http://10.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html and remote from http://domain.com:32400/web/index.html but I would really it to be encrypected on SSL/HTTPS with a secure connection. I have SSL enabled on my Freebsd box but I’m using an odd port so not port 443, if anyone has any insight on how I could make the remote connect use SSL it would be awesome. I’m familiar with editing httpd.conf and the httpd-ssl.conf but not sure if that even comes into play with plex. I’m a newbie when it comes to all this so detailed instructions would be amazing.

Thanks for reading.

Setting >Server> Network change Secure Connection to Required

https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/206225077-How-to-Use-Secure-Server-Connections

Unfortunately I had already read support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/206225077-How-to-Use-Secure-Server-Connections
and Setting >Server> does not have Network change Secure Connection under my setting area.

The link above says
Which Apps Support Secure Connections?
The following Plex apps will support secure connections to your Plex Media Server:
Android
iOS
Plex Home Theater
Plex Web App
Roku
Windows 8.1
Windows Phone
Xbox One

I do not see Freebsd on this list, does that mean its not supported?

you need to update your server

Look like you are right, look like I’m running plexmediaserver-0.9.9.10.458.tbz. I updated my ports but its has plexmediaserver as version 0.9.9.10.458. Could you point in the direction where I could download version 0.9.12.8.1362 for freebsd. Thanks again =)
