Remote access using wrong interface/IP-this has to be the most nagged on issue

This issue decided to come back for me recently, and PMS absolutely is determined to use my wifi IP for remote access no matter what. I checked and windows updates have been paused, no pms software update, so i don’t believe anything has changed but 3-4 days ago, remote access is red again. If I disconnect the wifi, it reverts to the ethernet (100) which is proper. i adjusted the metrics to put wifi (181) higher in number or lower in priority (attached) and no matter what, the moment the wifi is connected, pms reverts to that. I have turned wifi off and rebooted so it wouldn’t start up that way, etc. and to no avail.

I am aware the preferred interface doesn’t effect the remote access, just showing the proper connection is available. I saw in other posts about this that “For remote access, Plex Media Server will use the highest priority route (and the interface associated with it).”

This morning I had a user unable to use Plex, so I told her sit tight and let me know if it works now. I just went over and hit disconnect from my wifi connection, and she said, yes, everything works fine now.
