Remote access wont work plz help!

Hello! I am new here. I just setup my Synology DS918+ and installed the PMS straight from the website(not DSM package center). I am kinda a newb at Networking troubleshooting. My PMS says that it’s not available outside my network. I have messed around in the settings. I have set a Static IP in my router settings. I attempted port forwarding but I think I didnt set it up properly. I also messed around with the Synology “external access” settings such as DDNS. I cant get anything to work. I am praying someone on here can help walk me through this. Thank you all in advance!

Unfortunately this did not work. It has the same error. I will attach a screen shot.

Don’t go by the status display inside of Plex.
It is only reacting with a giant delay.
Always use a service like canyouseeme.org to verify the functionality of the port forwarding.
If they say, they can see your open port, all is well.

Yeah I just figured it out. ATT hardware is so damn awful. I had to put the Wifi router in the ATT gateway DMZ. I also configured the Gateway to have a weird IP pool, something like 76.1.0.0 or whatever. All of my devices including my NAS are connected to the Asus RT-AC88U via ethernet. So all of my devices still got the regular IP address 192.blah…

I appreciate you going out of your way to help me! I’m so happy I finally figured this out. I’ve been working on this for about 8 hours.

I keep telling myself that saving $150 a month on my TV/Internet bill is worth the hassle. But days like this make me question it thoroughly haha. Thanks again!
