Remote Control (From Server - Push video?)

Ok, I've read around some and have almost everything hooked up the way I want for the display TV we're using here. I'm using Rasplex on a Raspberry Pi (It's pretty much the only thing available that can do composite outputs) connected to the TV and it works fine. The main issue I am working on right now is that I have a bluetooth keyboard that I use to control it but it would be much more convenient to be able to control it from the computer I have running the server. I mostly just have it shuffling through movies but would sometimes like to be able to choose and play a specific one. I pull up Plex on my computer and can see the activity where it is playing a movie on the Pi but there doesn't seem to be any way to control it. I've used SSH and such before to alter the config files but I don't think there would be any options there? I can pull up the app on my phone but the Pi doesn't show up as a player that I could control.

Essentially: Can I, from the computer running the server, push a movie to play on the Pi?

Thanks!

1. start the RasPi

2. fire up Plex Web at the server (if it is already open, 'Reload' the webpage in browser)

Fling media from plex Web to PHT on the Pi

Go into the preferences of PHT on the Pi. You probably must activate 'Allow control of PHT from Plex Clients'

RasPi and the server must be in the same local network. You must be logged into Plex Web with the same Plex account as the Pi.

You can also use any of the mobile apps (even in free test mode) to fling media.

Hmmm....no players appear available on my mobile apps or the web app. It's possible that if it requires everything to be on the same local network that they may not be here. (The wired and wireless networks here are separated). I may have to wait until I can get an Ethernet cable over the the Pi to check. Thanks for the quick response!
