Awesome to remote control the kids ipad from my iphone in the car. It works when I share my iphone internet to the ipad out of the box.
What I would love is to be able to start his offline content stored on the ipad. Have not found a way to do this.
Just trying to catch up on this suggestion. It appears this is working as described using the new download feature which is targeted to replace mobile sync.
Sounds awesome. From which Plex Server version is this available? Do I need to enable it somehow?

The limiting factor is to have the latest version of Plex for Android – from what I remember, this version of Plex for Android will require PMS 1.18.3(?).
The feature is still in test mode (as per the announcement above 
) – you can opt-in (and out) from the app settings (Settings > Sync > Enable new downloads)
Ah that explains it. Running on ipad but i assume it will come to ios eventually?
