I have had an issue lately when attempting any seek operation in while watching certain files causes an indefinite loop. The application appears to be seeking (spinning circle) but the dashboard suggests nothing is happening (bandwidth stops, obviously, but CPU load does as well). Closing the web app and reopening to the same movie prompts with a continue message as if was actually there in the file (i.e. if I seeked to 44 minutes, closing and opening Plex Web followed by replaying the content causes the “where you left off” pop up). After attempting to continue, the app continues to seek like it did before and appears to do nothing.
I am unsure what is going on. If played from the beginning, the content plays normally. I have experienced similar things on Plex for the Xbone.
Any advise or pointers?
