Remote streaming loses progress

Ever since the new iOS app update all of my remote streaming from my media server continually loses the progress in the episode that I’m watching sometimes will skip the first five minutes of an episode that I’m 45 minutes through or we’ll start over altogether. I’ve updated both the server on my windows PC and have the latest version of the app on my phone.

When this happens do you know if there is a network change occurring. like moving between cell and wifi.

I do that quite a bit but just now at home on my personal connection, I paused the show at 10m and came back to resume it and it had ended the episode and was showing the “rewatch episode screen” most of the time it just starts from the beginning.
