When streaming an episode on my iPhone, the player pre-caches the episode as much as it possibly can (which I assume is what the gray bar in the progress bar represents), but as soon as I lose internet connection, for example when entering the subway, the plex player gives me the spinning circle, drops the cache completely, and starts the caching again when connection is restored.
Why doesn’t plex just leverage the cache to continue playing the episode until connection is restored and only give me the spinning circle once the cache is exhausted?
