The way the side panel is sorted should have nothing to do with how the main screen is sorted. Just like we did prior to the new UI, we should be able to sort the side panel and the main window separately.
Personally, I (used to) sort my 18 libraries/tabs in the side panel alphabetically and sort the main screen based off of use. It makes less sense the closer the items are to the top as they’re, essentially, two identical columns.
This change was introduced with the line that it was allowing more customization, but I don’t see how less control to setup your screen provides more customization.
