Is it possible to delete a movie from the HD but keep it in the library?
I would like to free up some space from my HD but I would also like to keep the history of the movies I saw in the plex library.
Not possible, unless you exchange the file with a small “dummy”.
When doing this, the file name must be kept exactly the same. And the ‘automatic library update’ must be off - at least during the switchover.
