Due to a data loss – I had to set my server back up and now all my shared users are seeing an offline server/you don’t have access to the server. I removed it from my acount hoping that would clear it from them but it doesnt seem to have done the trick. How can I clear this so that the users don’t think my server is offline when it’s not?
they will probably have to do either;
- manually unpin the libraries from your old server, and re-pin the libraries using the new server, typically done on the left side navigation, clicking ‘more’ then using the 3 dot context menu or ‘edit’ function to unpin/pin as applicable.
- alternatively, it might be easier to direct them to the ‘reset home screen’ or similar verbiage to clear and rebuild their preferred libraries and home screen settings.
- another possibility might be to simply have them sign out of their plex client, then sign back in, which should go through the initial client onboarding wizard.
