I’ve got a problem with mp4 files where the title is something like Star.Wars.The.Last.Jedi.2017.1080p.BluRay.x264-[YTS.AM] and it displays like that in plex. What i have to do is to delete the title in properties -> details. Then it displays without dots and other unwelcome stuff…
What i want is to automate this, with something like a .ps file. What i have come to is, like this ->
Get-ChildItem -path “mypath” -Recurse -Filter “*.mp4” | “and i don’t know what to be here”
You can use a program like mp3tag to edit the properties if using the normal dialogue window won’t work. It will remove the properties on multiple files if you wish. No way to automate that as far as I know.
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
Afterwards, Refresh Metadata of the affected items.
