There are still multiple people that I removed from my users list that still access my database. how do I remove them?
Have you tried restarting PMS?
yes but they still have access. they are no longer in my users but they still stream
What type of users were they, and how did you remove them?
Were these managed home users, and did you sign them into your account using the “Link” function?
Or were they Friends that held their own accounts, that you shared specific content with?
How did you remove them?
How do you know they are accessing your system?
They were under my friends list with access to all libraries. I went to my users & sharing and clicked the “x” button that said remove user. Upon doing so the users name was removed. Hours and days later I still see that user watching my library. I checked users and friends and he is not there but still has full access. I can stop their play in my dashboard but they can just start something else up.
Remove User or Remove Friend?
I’m asking because Home (Managed) Users and Friends are pretty different from a security point of view.
I can’t help w/ anything on the back end. I (and other users) could better help if you provided logs and the ~times where the unexpected access occurred.
The people added were in the friends section not the home users. I removed them from my friends section and they still come up. I’ll download a log next time it happens
