I’m trying to find a simple script that would rename an eyeTV recording file on recording done so that it fits the Plex naming convention, ie. “Title (year)”.
The problem is that the Plex media manager usually can’t find the right meta data, because eyeTV puts a lot of other info into the file name of the recording (country, genre, etc.) which seems to confuse the media manager.
Any ideas?
