I use Beyond TV to record my shows and I use Plex to view them remotely. I have a program that renames the BTV recordings to the proper scraping file format, but I’d like to have Plex be able to recognize the native BTV naming convention. BTV uses the following: {Series Name}-{(Episode Name)}-{Date Recorded}.{ext}, ie: Grey’s Anatomy-(Suddenly)-2012-01-05-0.tp. Would someone be able to help me make a scanner for this format that can pull Metadata from say TheTVDB.org?
I also want this. I have posted in your thread at BTV forum as well. I used your BTV renamer program for my OTA tv shows, but they still will not show up in plex. Is there something I need to do to their extension to get them to show up plus also work with BTV Link?
I’m sure someone can point me in the right direction here. Please help. I believe many Beyond TV users would appreciate this functionality.
So, it's been a long, long time ... but I'm another Beyond TV user giving Plex a try and hitting the same wall as far as file naming. Did this get resolved somewhere else or is still a problem to solve?
