Renamed tv show episodes still doesn't show correct.

renamed with filebot here’s some examples of what I have.
these are examples that won’t show correct

24 - S01E10 - 900 A.M. - 1000 A.M.
House - S01E01 - Pilot
3rd Rock from the Sun - S01E01 - Brains and Eggs

Literally none of these shows are showing in plex correct all seasons all episodes. i get seasons of pokemon game of thrones ■■■ and the city.

What did I do wrong?
This is getting old.

do you have them in separate show folders are all just jumbled in one folder.

All are in separate folders by season

I would do this for one show then if not added look at/grab scanner logs to see if it jsut cannot see files for some reason or if being ignored

Ok well the thing now is even the shows that did come out correctly are now screwed up and showing different then what they are?

You need to submit a logfile.

Log files attached

Just in case you do not have the full correct structure I will paste the guide I have given others here:

TV Shows <— The library points here
---------TV Show Name (Year first aired if needed) <— This folder holds the season folders
------------------Season 01 <— This folder holds all the episodes for season 01
-------------------------ShowName - s01e01 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------ShowName - s01e02 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------And so on for the rest of season 01
------------------Season 02 <— This folder holds all the episodes for season 02
-------------------------ShowName - s02e01 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------ShowName - s02e02 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------And so on for the rest of season 02
------------------Season 03 <— This folder holds all the episodes for season 03
-------------------------ShowName - s03e01 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------ShowName - s03e02 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------And so on for the rest of season 03
---------2nd TV Show Name (Year first aired if needed) <— This folder holds the season folders
------------------Season 01 <— This folder holds all the episodes for season 01
-------------------------2nd ShowName - s01e01 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------2nd ShowName - s01e02 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------And so on for the rest of season 01
------------------Season 02 <— This folder holds all the episodes for season 02
-------------------------2nd ShowName - s02e01 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------2nd ShowName - s02e02 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------And so on for the rest of season 02
------------------Season 03 <— This folder holds all the episodes for season 03
-------------------------2nd ShowName - s03e01 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------2nd ShowName - s03e02 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------And so on for the rest of season 03
Note: The year after the show name is only normally needed or desired if there is more that one show with exactly the same name. Check http://thetvdb.com/ if you are not sure and match exactly the name used there. There are some exceptions to this where the year is needed even if there is no other show of that name or if the show does not have the year in TheTVDB.
There are naming methods other than the above that work but this does work 99.9% of the time.
If you are going to use Plex it is best to use the proper naming conventions so Plex makes the best match possible. Trying to force Plex to use other naming methods is just asking for frustration.

If your structure is already like this then ignore this post.
If this is not exactly your format then Plex may work with it BUT it also may not and it may partially work.

You are just adding your main TV folder(s) to the library and not each individual show folder right?

This is wrong G:\King Of The Hill\Season 9\King of the Hill - 9x01 - A Rover Runs Through It.mkv
This is right G:\TV\King Of The Hill\Season 9\King of the Hill - S09E01 - A Rover Runs Through It.mkv

G:\TV\ is the folder that should be added to your library. not G:\ nor G:\King Of The Hill\ nor G:\TV\King Of The Hill\

and try to use S09E01 and not 9x01

All are not done So when you see the king of the hill daffy duck dexter laboratory they are not done… But things like house md are and the show up funky. Even some that were good yesterday are screwed up today without touching them.

Like I said even the stuff that was correct are now out of wack.
I check diagnostics on my mcintosh home server and there are no failures.

The logs you gave are a Windows computer not a Mac

Don’t put shows folder on the root of the drive. put them all in a main tv folder. G:\TV\ is what you add to library.

not G:\ not G:\King Of The Hill\ not G:\TV\King Of The Hill\

Im talking a mcintosh labs home media server not a apple. A mcintosh media server runs windows lenovo softwares,

ok well your logs indicate you are adding G:\King Of The Hill\ to the library. so it thinks “season 09” is the name of the show since that is the next folder.

Ok I totally understand were the fault is on my end. Thank You
