(Re-imagining of the scanner idea I posted before)
Problem:
So if a TV series is set to record every episode, the commercial remover would often remove portions of the show itself. Now we have the alternate where the commercials are marked instead of being fully removed, but I personally have hundreds of TV show episodes that are missing chunks of the show because of the remover.
Potential Solution?:
So there should be some checkbox somewhere that when clicked, if a TV Episode of a recorded show is already recorded, but the run time of that show isn’t within some margin of error of the slot the show should be from the TV guide (EG the recorded EP is 50 minutes and the slot is 1hr), automatically re-record the show using the skipper instead of remover, remove the shorter version of the episode and replace it with the longer one.
