Report library content available on streaming services

I would like to be able to prune my TV and Movie libraries of content that is also available on streaming platforms I have access to. Plex is already provided with this list of streaming platforms for the Watchlist functionality.

This would greatly expedite reclaiming much needed disk space. As-is today this is already reported 1-by-1 for content on your Watchlist, but NOT on that same content’s page within your personal library.

I would like to have:

  1. the watchlist’s exclusive info available on your content’s page

  2. being able to filter/report all content [within a library] that is available on any of my selected streaming platforms

Maybe you didn’t know, but content on streaming services will very often only be available for a limited time period.
Content which is available today, may be gone tomorrow. It may later reappear on a different streaming service, or the same streaming service, or not at all anymore for various reasons.

This is one of the reasons to have a personal media server in the first place.

Yes, I’m well aware of that, but I can always reobtain/rerip that content again in the future. If you need to free up X amount of space, this is a good place to start. Going 1 by 1 isn’t practical when you have 1500+ movies and 200+ TV serieses.

From my experience it’s most common for content to go from streaming platform X to Y. It’s pretty rare for it to disappear completely (aka rent/buy only), unless a derivative was recently released.

I would like to create a (smart) collection of movies that are currently not available on my selected streaming services. I do not see a way to do so, but this would be a nice feature addition when time allows.
