Since there’ll probably be quite a few of these on this first public preview of the UWP app, it is important when reporting bugs to follow these simple rules:

  • Search first if there’s already a similar issue reported, to limit duplicates as much as possible.
  • If there isn’t already a post for it, please note the app version (e.g. 3.0.10, found in Settings/Help) and prefix the post title with it.

I see amateurs are rating a beta under 5 stars. It’s supposed to have bugs. You only report the bugs with 5 stars rating until final release.
Anyway, it crashes at startup a lot. When I’m browsing a folder, I have to go home before I can go to another folder where’s other things like, Home Made, TV,… things like that.

I think Internet security doesn’t like its behavior and disconnecting it a lot from the internet. I think it’s calling home too much. On my laptop, I allowed it all because Norton gave me a choice. I have Kaspersky on Desktop, it does things in the background without reporting too much. I’d like to go in Kaspersky and say ok but the way MS Store installs things, it’s not that easy.

Features needed: It need a refresh or update button just as the web one that run through server. Sometimes past Plex App stops refreshing to show all cover and things. I usually get out and go back again. At least I can see it busy working.

It looks nice so far. Better than the previous Plex apps.
