"Request failed with status code 500" when editing library access for a plex home managed account

Server Version#: 1.41.9.9961 on QNAP NAS
Player Version#: na

I’m trying to add library access to a managed account on the ‘plex home’ server screen. Every time I click ‘save changes’ button, it gives me this error. It doesn’t do this on my other pms servers, just this particular qnap pms server.

I checked the server log, and there are no errors or indicators a problem has occured. Only the UI message displays, with no other details. See screenshot. Can anyone advise please? Thanks

I also tried reinstalling the PMS server on the QNAP NAS, but that didn’t fix it either.

I even tried installing pms 1.41.8.9834 (an older version I still had on hand), and the same error happens there too.

Ditto the above replies. I can no longer edit a managed account. I thought it might be due to a recent Windows security update, but I reinstalled an older Windows 10 version, turned off all the auto updates, and ended up with the same problem(s).

I have recreated the issue and filed the bug report.

PMS 1.41.9.9961 and PMS 1.42.0.10006

My QNAP running an older 1.41.2.9200 PMS doesn’t have this error. It gets manually updated and I haven’t touched it for a while.

My Ubuntu running 1.41.9.9961 PMS gets auto-updates and it has the same error. Thanks for filing the bug report.

Hi all, the issue should be fixed now, could you try again and see if it works? Thanks!

Yep, that fixed it for me. Thanks!

Fixed mine on TrueNas, Thanks!

Fixed on my Ubuntu install. Many thanks for the rapid resolution!

Fixed on my Windows 10 box as well. Thanks for the quick response/fix!

I’m currently having a problem where the iOS app displays the error message “Request failed” whenever I’m connected remotely.
I don’t have this issue when using the Infuse player.
Perhaps pre-caching in the app would be appropriate.
