Now that the grid has entered beta for iOS (thank you, by the way!) … I wanted to ask for something that actually affects all the players that have the grid view enabled. And that is, the grid doesn’t seem to update in time.
What I mean by this is: let’s say you are looking at 2pm on the grid, and you start watching an hour-long TV show. At the end of that show, you exit back to the grid. It’s now 3pm, but the grid still shows 2pm. And to make matters worse, the highlighted shows (slightly lighter grey color) that are supposed to indicate which shows are currently airing, those are still left on the 2pm shows.
The only way that I can see to update the grid is to exit out back to the main page, and then click on the guide once again. Then it will update everything, move to the current time, and highlight the currently airing shows.
This happens on all versions I have tested, including the web version, tvOS, iOS, Mac, and NVIDIA Shield. So it’s apparently inherent in either the communication with the server, or something in the programming of all versions.
