Ever since I started using Plex for live TV - so about 2 years, the guide alignment has never worked well.

On an AppleTV, as the app is running all the time, when opening it after say a few hours or days even, the guide doesn’t put the Now cursor on the LHS of the grid, but seems to put some random time, sometimes even a day in the future, but normally hours in the future, and doesn’t go back to having Now on the LHS unless I exit Live TV and say go to Movies and then come back to the TV guide. I think the issue is that I leave the app running on Live TV and for some reason, the grid isn’t updated when I switch the TV on again.

Is there some way for the Live TV function to check that the timing is right, I think it only does this on programme boundaries.

I have similar issues with Guide on Firestick 4k/4k Max (I guess that’s “Android”). Many times cells will just say “Loading”, other times they’ll be blank. Scrolling through the guide using the channel up/down button cuts off or entirely hides the top or bottom line of cells as there’s no apparent check to ensure all channels get displayed. I also have big problems with switching from Guide to viewing where it will eventually begin to stop viewing playback and return to the guide after a few seconds. Restarting the app is the only fix for that problem (or watching channels from the What’s On, Browse, etc screens instead of from the guide). It seems to be a real mess.
