+1 There is the Plex linux client (Standard PMC client), but it is kinda a pain to get compiled and running. Likely with a little work it would be quite simple. Could even setup debian packages (or ubuntu packages), which would serve most people.

How about an official PlexBMC plugin for XBMC so it will run natively on Linux for any distribution or LiveCD you would like to use?

Sorry for the double post! This would be an amazing feature. It goes very well along with the user-friendly aspect of Plex.

+1 - or I’d love to see the devs give the current developer of PleXBMC a hand and get that working a bit nicer. It’s the one part of the equation that is missing for me and keeps me running an OpenELEC XBMC box for my media room.
