Request: Option to disable game controller input in Plex Media Player for Windows.

Sometimes I enjoy watching videos in Plex on a secondary monitor while playing games on the main one. Unfortunately I can’t do that with gamepad games and Plex Media Player, because PMP interprets all controller input even if it doesn’t have focus. I really don’t have any need for controller input at all in PMP on this PC, and would greatly appreciate an option to disable it, or only allow it when it has focus.

You could probably alter or delete the input maps json with the controller inputs.

Hmm, google found me this here support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/216459997-Create-your-own-inputmap, which references the windows location at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\PlexMediaPlayer\inputmaps, I’ll give that a shot. Thanks!

Edit: I tried just removing everything but “keyboard” from the “examples” folder there, but the blasted thing just put them back. I changed the xbox and DS4 mappings to basically just {} and overwrote them, and copied them out to the inputmaps folder just to be sure, and that seemed to do it though.
