It seems that playlists are created on a per-user basis. I think it would be useful to be able to have server side/multi-user/shared playlists as well as single-user ones. I know collections are server-level and are similar, but there seems to be more flexibility with playlists than collections.

Subsonic has this feature where you make the playlist public, perhaps this could be the same. Fairly simple DB request then ‘select * where owner=‘me’ or public=true’ so it should be just a server side update, unless plexs Playlists are created weirdly which will allow it to work on all clients more or less (and then can ‘fine tune’ it at a later date for different features
I also would like to be able to share playlists with my friends!
