Sonic Adventure is really great with a large music collection - it is helping me rediscover all sorts of oddities, b-sides, and things squirrelled away on compilations . . .
But ideally with both Sonic Adventure and the Radio Playlists, there would be a UI menu item to ‘Start a Sonic Adventure with this track’ etc when I am playing a specific track . . .
wouldn’t that be just a single track or track radio? how would you get an adventure with just the current track?
It would again, ideally, prompt for another track? And/or store until another is added to the queue via playback?
It’s a bit of a challenge with Sonic Adventure as it’s set up now as it’s inevitably going to bias to songs you remember to begin/end to enter into the search bar.
Track Radio seems to generate a much narrower set of songs - often from the a smaller pool of albums. Much more album repetition too within Radio and it feels like (not enough evidence to be sure!) that Sonic Adventure is a lot better at picking songs from compilations and ‘unmatched’ (about 25% of my well tagged music collection) than Radio?
