The current version is not very user-friendly for Chinese search.
When you use Chinese to search movies, if the library language is Chinese, you can search movies in the library very well, but can not search the content on Plex, “More Ways To Watch” does not show any related content.
When using English to search, if the library language is Chinese, the only way to match the movie is to enter the full title of the movie. For example, when I searched for “钢铁侠”, I got “钢铁侠”, “钢铁侠2”, “钢铁侠3”, “钢铁侠合集”, but search “Iron Man” I only get “Iron Man”, other Iron Man movies in the library did not come up, But “More Ways To Watch” shows all the Iron Man movies on Plex.
Also, you can’t find any results using Chinese to search actors, but using English to search for an actor will not only get you the actor but also the content of the actor’s appearance in the library.
Subtitle search in Chinese is completely useless, nothing comes up, but in English you can find many Chinese subtitle results. It does have Chinese subtitle content, but you can’t use Chinese to search them.
