I was told to make a new post so this could be investigated, please help. I was trying to cast from my phone through Comcast, everything I tried to watch claimed I needed a remote server subscription, even though my phone was on the same wifi as my server. Once I paid for the subscription then I was able to access my libraries again.
I contacted Plex who tell me that it shoul not have been requiring a subscription to use and this is a technical issue requiring investigation. Anybody that can help?
Note this is not a new installation, I have been using Plex this way for years with no issue, having purchased the app access fron Plex.
