I’m writing a plugin for the CBC News Network, and I have a question about the site config.
The site may or may not play an ad before starting the requested video, so I’ve created conditions to detect whether an ad is playing or not and to put the player into the appropriate state (either “playing” or “ad”).
My question is, is there anyway to tell plex to restart the elapsed time when it switches from the “ad” state to the “playing” state? Does that make sense? I want it to start over from 0:00 when the ad finishes.

Yes, I totally know what you mean. There is no way to do that at the moment, but I’ve added it to my list of future enhancements.
