I had a Plex install on my NAS with HOURS of work into custom posters and sorting. I had to redo my raid to add a drive. I backed up the plex location before but I cannot restore it. All of my work is gone and all my play history is gone.
I have both the folder and Plex was setup to backup and I have the DB file. I installed Plex on the NAS, started it to create the folders then stopped it. I then copied the files over but I still had to recreate everything.
Any help would be appricated. I’d love to not spend hours and hours to redo everything I did in the past.
Looks like I needed to manually restore the DB file even though it should have been copied over when I copied the entire folder over. Working now after manually coping the DB file and doing a refresh metadata
EDIT: Looks like it restored the watch history but not the cover art. Dammit
