Restrict online media source access on a per managed user basis

It would be great to be able to control online media source access per managed user rather than an all or nothing switch in settings. Context: I have five managed users on my account for the six people who live in our house. Three adults, three children. I’d like for all the adults to be able to use online media sources on their profiles, but I’d rather the three children be limited to just what’s stored on our server.

The adult users can use/create full Plex accounts which you can invite into your Plex Home. In that way they can manage their own account settings (including the ones you’ve mentioned) and still have access to the libraries you’ve granted them.

Thanks for the reply. Question: won’t that require both of them to have their own Plex pass subscription? With managed accounts they can download files to their devices, and they both use that feature a lot.

Hmm… I think there is a restriction on downloading and that accounts created before a certain date (which I no longer remember) are grandfathered in. But yes, that could certainly be a limitation. Hopefully someone with more knowledge about this can comment.
