Having all those devices shouldn't warrant the need for logins to be shared. My partner for instance has an iPad, iPhone and a roku on which she uses plex. She never uses multiple devices at the same time however. Why would she? Each user can set their myplex account on as many devices as they want but would never use two simultaneously. There are 4 of us in my family and we all have a myplex account. Alone due to on deck etc it makes sense to each have our own myplex account.
Each to his own, I find a family member watches shows on any of the devices at any time, and even switches between one device to another. A Roku in the lounge is not restricted to one family member..........Having each family member on an individual myplex account doesn't solve the problem necessarily. Anyhoo, more control of attached devices from the myplex server would be a welcome addition.
IP-masking would solve this without imposing limitations on the number of connections. Ofcourse, it would limit the use of mobile clients connecting from outside the household. Also, it wouldnt work very well with ISPs who change IPs a lot. But it would be very secure, and is my favorite option.

Fair comment. Never thought of it like that. I guess being able to restrict each user to a certain number of simultaneous logins and perhaps a login option ala Netflix would be a perfect solution but potentially a little too much to ask?
