Hello all, I love plex to no end. We have a full family of 8 with movies divided up into categories and folders, family photos and music. Everything works great, pause in the basement, go upstairs and resume. watch part of a movie, go to sleep then resume the next day or days later. no issues there. Our problem is when we watch a series, pause in the middle then go back to continue, the shows only have resume sometimes, otherwise it is when we scroll through everything, there is no progress bar or indication that we’ve been watching it. This happens with all “TV shows”. We’ve been dealing with this for a few years.
Is there a fix for this or is this just expected behavior?

Edit: I run my plex server at home on an ESXi instance with my storage on a NAS. Playback is perfect on all devices with multiple streams at the same time, probably not relevant, but just wanted to throw that in just in case someone asks
