If I am watching a tv show and I watch 4,5,6, etc episodes. Use the back button on my remote to the Home Screen and then click the resume playing from the Home Screen for the same show. It does not take me back to the last watched episode. It takes me to the original episode I started playing 4,5,6 etc times ago. I didn’t catch it at first and was wondering why I was rewatching shows I had just watched. I think this is some sort application cache issue or something.
Resume play is working as it should, it’s just that when you close a video, you are returned to the same screen you were on previously, which is still focused on the original item you started with, so you are resuming the selected episode.
There is some discussion on whether we should continue to be consistent on returning to the same screen in the same state (as we do now and like we do on basically all other screens) when closing the player screen or we should update to whatever was last watched (which is not as simple as it sounds).
