Resuming issue - Player freezes

Dear Plex support Team,

I’m owner of an LG TV 49UF680V, acquired in Portugal.

I regularly use the Plex App on this TV to access to my internal Plex server that is available/installed on my Desktop computer with Windows 10 Pro version 20H2 (OS compilation 19042.685). The Plex server version installed on my Desktop is 4.47.3.

Now a days, there is an issue on the Plex App installed on the TV, that is really upset me. Every time that I close the Plex App with a movie running and lately I try to resume it, the TV does not resume and it appears a circle on the screen center saying “Resuming” and nothing happen.

If I try to start the movie from the beginning and then try to fast forward the movie, it will follow on the same issue. The circle and the resuming messages appear again.

The last Plex Server version file used to install the Plex Server is the 1.21.1.3830. In order to have the TV resuming the movies normally or allowing to Fast Forward, I have to install at least the Plex Server version file 1.16.6.1592, or lower.

This issue is not observed on others TV’s that I have tried to resume, like Samsung TV’s.

Due to the exposed fact, I would like to request support to the Plex Team developers together with LG Team developers to analyze/improve this bug.

Me as the others LG clients, would be very pleased if a new SW version could be released to solve/fix the exposed bug.
