I have been a long time xbmc user. i am now working with plex and having a few issues
I have the following setup
unraid server 5.0 final
plex media server(windows 7 64 bit) i5 4 gigs ram
apple tv
all over ethernet
I have run into the flowing issues
when I watch something from the beginning it works fine then all of a sudden quits.
when I resume a movie even after it quits I get the "waiting" prompt ever once and a while it does start but it is ridiculously long.
when I skip a head a fair amount from starting from beginning I get the same waiting.
my eventual plan is to combine unraid and plex on the same system but not use plugins in unraid itself.
I need more ram and better cpu.
Right now I can only see the cpu spike for a short period of time then drop back down to normal use.
I am also wondering if the problem could be unraid putting the drives to sleep and plex starting them up again causing issues.
oh and even using the plex webserver and watching it that way gives me the exact same problem.

which ATV client are you using?
plexconnect. ATV is only a few weeks old so it is the newest one
