Ripped DVD does not display in Plex TV Programmes Library..... but does in Films Library

I have ripped over 200 DVDs and successfully moved them to Plex Media Server Libraries (‘Films’ & ‘TV Programmes’ - Plex displays them in their relevant Libraries…except I have one rather perPlexing anomaly. The ENTIRE collection of Blackadder DVDs simply will not display under ‘TV Programmes’…but if I copy them to the ‘Movies’ Library they are recognised and display almost immediately. It MUST be something simple surely - but I simply cannot understand why one Libray is fine and the other isn’t for this particular ‘collection’. The content is in 4 folders (4 series) with 3 ‘specials’ in the root.
I’m running PMS on a WD My Cloud PR4100 NAS

Sounds like you got the naming of your files wrong.
Plex will ignore files that don’t match what it expects for a tv episode in a tv-show type library and vice versa. So if they show fine in the movie library your file naming / folder structures appear to be off.

The following naming/organization should work:

TV Shows <- the folder linked to your tv-show library
  Blackadder
    Season 01
      Blackadder - s01e01 - The Foretelling.ext
Blackadder - s01e02.ext <- technically no need to keep anything after the season/episode section
      Blackadder - s01e03.ext
      ...
      Blackadder - s01e06.ext

    Season 02
      Blackadder - s02e01.ext
      Blackadder - s02e02.ext
      ...
      Blackadder - s02e06.ext

    ...

Specials <- alternatively you can use "Season 00"
      Blackadder - s00e01 - The Cavalier Years.ext
      ...

Where .ext is the file extension of your files.

I can barely believe that I’d got so far…successfully, and yet managed to make such a perfect foul-up…and ALL in the one box-set! As soon as I started to re-name the Plex Library started populating! I think what was confusing me is there must be a MUCH stricter naming convention for the ‘TV library Programmes’ than ‘Films’ - lesson learned!
