Ripped DVD with multiple titles

I ripped a Looney Tunes Compilation DVD set (~60 cartoons) into separate .mkv files.

When I put the folder in the Movies section Plex finds the collection name, "Looney Tunes Golden Collection", but it wants to name the individual files according to their titles and throw them all over the place by the titles instead of under one heading even with them named in a collection.

If I put them in the TV section, it only picks up on maybe 9 of the cartoons and the rest do not even show up.

How can I keep them in the same section without having to look all over the place for them or having most of them not even show up? I can't even manually add metadata for them in the TV section if they don't show up.

Also, I ripped Pink Floyd in Pompeii which has 3 main video titles.

What would be the best way to organize these?

Just name them all the same and then choose between the streams in the Plex client?

What is the proper way to handle DVD/BD extras?

I know that questions similar to these have been asked before but the responses were quite old and I was hoping for an updated solution.

Thanks!

The best way to get them to sort together is use the sort title field.  So when you have the titles in your collection select edit and you will see the sort title field.  Name them Looney Tunes 01, 02, 03, etc.  For example my Dr. No has the sort title Bond 01 this way when I sort the movies they are all to gather and in order.

Looney Tunes should be in a TV section, not a movie section.  You should go through the tvdb listing and name the eps appropriately by season/episode

Otherwise its just going to always be a mess in your library unless you make a "Home Movies" section and put them in there, but that would be lazy :-)

The other way to go about all of this (although painstakingly...) is to rip the individual episodes and add them as Movies, titling them "CARTOON TITLE_RELEASE YEAR".  You will then see that the title card image, description, and release date will be uploaded.  I prefer this method as I have many shorts (particularly the "banned" ones) that have not been released in collections so my library of Looney Tunes is listed more cohesively.

after many (maaany) hours of renaming individual files. I used filebot to fetch the proper season-episode with great success. As long as you name each file verbatim to the title, filebot will easily get the season data.

My question is with the extras found in every disk… any ideas/suggestions?
