I know this may not exactly belong here, but figured I’d ask. I am ripping my disc collection and have gotten about 100+ discs into it. I am now running into an error ‘Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:LOGICAL UNIT HAS NOT SELF-CONFIGURED YET’ and personal research says that it could be hardware issue. However if I restart my machine I can then again start ripping like normal until it happens again some number of discs later. I am currently using MakeMKV to rip my discs.
Since circumventing DRM isn’t discussed here, you should probably head to the MakeMKV forums for help with this one.

I agree, this is also not the correct section for this post.
To note thought, it sounds like your optical drive is failing or has a driver issue.
