If I give you some commands to run at the command line of the docker container,
are you willing to give it a shot ?
Sure. Yes
How do I get to the command line?
Since I don’t know how to get to the unraid command line, I’ll try this.
Correct me where I’m wrong please.
-
Get at the Unraid command line (shell)
– either SSH (Putty) into the machine
– OR open a web-terminal view to it ?? -
sudo sh(get privileges) -
docker container list(-- This gives the list of your containers) -
docker exec -it ContainerNameHere bash(-- gives us a command line inside the container) -
cat /proc/1/cgroup | grep docker(-- check our environment) -
ls /(-- see what is at the top of the directory structure)
Let’s see what we can get from that.
Get from what? I’m sorry. I have no idea what you’re asking me to do.
Did you setup this machine or did someone set it up for you?
Is it labeled console?
I did
I don’t know what Unraid should look like… This is my disadvantage – I’m blind here.
While watching a youtube video
see if you can open a console window.
a video about how to set it up
ok. done
scrolll back and try those commands I listed above .
Screenshot the output and paste it here for me please .
PERFECT!
You just made my day ![]()
- It’s running normal docker
- You are running the Plex docker image
I have got the perfect tool for you … (my tool already works on PMS docker)
Your movie folder in Unraid is easily accessible ? ( a mapped drive ?? )
I’d like you to take this file
DBRepair.tar (40 KB)
Download it to your computer THEN put it in MOVIES (wherever that is).
Let me know when you’re ready.
On this computer, or the Unraid computer?
First, download to your computer
Then transfer (copy or move) to the Unraid machine – into MOVIES so we can get access to it from inside that container.
Ok. It’s in the movies folder on the Unraid server. What is it?
