I’ve had a Roku 4630X since roughly new. I also just picked up a used Samsung UN55MU6290FXZA which is about 7-8 years old IIRC and was surprised that the Plex app was actually an option to install. When I installed and watched the exact same thing back and forth from the Roku app to the Samsung App, I was shocked by how much better the Samsung App performed in almost every way. Particularly, how much faster and more responsive the scrubbing speed was along with how much better the picture quality looked as well.
Is this just a case of the TV having better specs than Roku? Or is there something more I’m missing?
