Roku app displaying last logged in User even though automatically log in is unchecked

still having this issue is NOBODY else seeing this :frowning: !!! i mean it happens on all my roku’s 3 or 4k. different TVs too. i mean what is going on here i would think the plex team would definitely be aware of this…

so i thought this was a one time issue or bug, but now it’s back. i just updated to the latest plex version 1.21.0.3711 just a few mins ago.

Player Version#: 6.6.16.6715-c4643204c , least that was what it was showing in settings

not sure when this happened but in the last week it seems , any time i go into plex roku app it shows me the last person logged in :(. This happens on 4k Roku and Roku 3’s in my house… so now my wife is opening plex on any tv and since i was the last person logged in on each TV she is playing content and it’s logging it against my user media :wink: LOL. used to when we would start the roku app it would display the list of our users to select to login… In settings on the roku app we have “Automatically log in” unchecked and always have. again nothing else changed. i even ran the “Reset Home Customization” option/setting and that did help.

I can open my plex iphone app and it always displays the user for me to select .

what broke ? is this a bug? any help? thanks

This should be corrected in the latest Plex for Roku preview channel release:

  • Properly show users screen upon resuming when unprotected with auto-signin is disabled.

that worked great! i’ll move it to the top of my channel list and put normal plex app at the bottom on all our rokus otherwise wife and daughter wont’ know to use the preview one, the big question is when is the release date for the actual app to the get the fix/update ? thanks
