I have an issue that might just be a silly setting, but I can’t figure it out.
If I have my ROKU player set to Direct Play = Auto, most of my Live TV streams will Transcode the video. FF/RWD or skip intro/commercials on my recorded media or movies works as expected. (setting Direct Play = Off has the exact same behavior).
When Direct Play = Force, Live TV will play without transcoding, but playback of my recorded media or movies loses the ability to FF/RWD or skip intro/commercials.
Is there a magical setting that will allow me to watch live TV without transcoding without losing my ability to FF/RWD or skip intro/commercials on recorded stuff?
The android app seems to play properly without transcoding Live TV or recorded material, and I can FF/RWD.
